I'm studying a PhD on disease transmission between scimitar-horned oryx and livestock to guide conservation translocation. My research is focused on oryx reintroduction programmes in Tunisia and Chad. I am interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to guide land-sharing between wildlife, domestic animals and humans. I have broad-ranging interests but some of my key passions are ecohealth, epidemiology and interspecies disease transmission. I am a vet and prior to my PhD worked with captive wildlife, primarily primates, in francophone sub-Saharan Africa.
