Dr Stephen Ngulu
Dr. Stephen Dicko Ngulu is a wildlife Veterinarian with over 15 years of extensive experience and a proven track record in wildlife health, zoonotic disease ecology, wild animal infectious disease, biodiversity conservation, business development, capacity building, scientific research, conservation project and program management and captive and semi captive wild animal management.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine, a Master’s in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health and an Executive Master of Business Administration, equipping him with a strong academic foundation in veterinary medicine, epidemiology, public health, and strategic planning.
Dr. Ngulu currently serves as the Manager at Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Head Wildlife Veterinarian at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. His leadership extends to serving as the secretary of the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary Steering committee and serving on boards such as the Pan-African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA) and Ushirika Foundation. Dr Ngulu is additionally a member of the Northern White Rhino Bio rescue team and technical committee.
